Dan from Bastille performs at The BRIT Awards
Dan Smith from Bastille performs at The BRIT Awards with Pink ahead of TRNSMT Festival 2019
We caught up with Bastille to talk about their ‘first and lasts’ of all thing’s music and gigs ahead of their show at the O2 Academy in Glasgow earlier this month.
Bastille will join Catfish and the Bottlemen, Richard Ashcroft, Sigrid, DMA’s, Sundara Karma, The Snuts, and Sam Fender on the main stage of TRNSMT Festival 2019 this July in Glasgow Green. This will be Bastille’s first time joining us at the Glasgow music festival.
Bastille was formed by Dan Smith, British singer and producer, in 2010 with Will Farquarson, Kyle Simmons, and Chris Wood. The band are most commonly known for their hit single ‘Pompeii’, which went platinum and reached number two in the UK. ‘Bad Blood’, ‘Things We Lost in the Fire’, and ‘Good Grief’ are amongst many other popular tracks from the band. More recently they have collaborated with artists such as Craig David and Marshmello.
American singer Pink performed at The BRIT Awards last week having received the award for Outstanding Contribution to music. Bastille’s frontman, Dan Smith, joined Pink on stage for a powerful duet of her 2012 hit ‘Try’. Check it out ~
